Stopped at The Spot after a long day at Galveston Beach…The vibes were high…I ordered this beautiful mangonada margarita and the fried shrimp basket. Our service was great for a party of 7!! do not order the 100oz piña colada tower, it did not come out frozen

Was visiting Galveston and came across The Spot towards the evening after we already ate. But I did walk in and check out "the spot". It was really busy so they're doing something right. I want to check it out next time I'm in Galveston.
One recommendation for the GM/owners: consider installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at your location. This is helping restaurants with discoverability and increasing in-store sales as more people drive EVs and look for convenient places to charge. Galveston is still light on charging infrastructure so you'd be sure to stand out more and attract customers. I noticed a few EVs already parked. In fact, I may have chose this place first had I known there was a charger.
As an EV driver myself, it's such a benefit to be able to charge while dining. And I needed the charge to get back to Houston (versus stopping later to fast charge).
I recommend reaching out to local Houston company Pangea Charging for EV charging consultations and installations.

The margaritas are good, we got watermelon and strawberry. Very good for happy hour 3-5 they were 5.00.
I also ended up getting the spot sampler with mozzarella sticks, bacon, wrapped shrimp, fried pickles, buffalo wings, onion rings w/ ranch and marinara sauce. It was really good. I mean the mozzarella sticks are probably like as thick as three fingers. I was like damn I ain’t never seen a mozzarella stick this big. LOL 😂 anyways The bacon wrapped the shrimp was really good, The fried pickles were good, The wings were dry, & The fried onion rings were OK I mean like any other onion ring. I guess it’s good if you have a party.
However i got the citrus snapper. Wow. Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The sweet to tangy ratio was amazing. 10/10. I will definitely pay $22 again and I will definitely come back for it. So thankful I chose this over a burger.

Coconut shrimps will probably be the tastiest shrimps you will ever try, especially if you are a fan of tropical sweet flavors. That mango-pineapple salsa combo with delicious deep fried shrimps that fall out of their shells are literally one of the tastiest seafood I've tried so far in my life. All recommendations for this place I have been back several times and enjoyed every meal I chose. Plus mozzarella sticks will drown you! 👌👌👌

We had a spectacular 5-star date day at The Spot. We both had the combo platter because we wanted to explore a little bit of everything. We weren't disappointed. The bacon-wrapped shrimp were perfect, and the pineapple dip for the coconut shrimp absolutely marvelous. From the hushpuppies to the waffle fries there wasn't a thing to complain about. Marci was a stellar performer as our server so, of course, we had to brag on her. The view may give The Spot it's name, but the food and staff give it meaning.

Such a cool restaurant and amazing food. Me and my family came here to grab some lunch and we were both so pleased!
We ordered mozzarella sticks as our starter and they were the best mozzarella sticks we both ever had! They were huge with little breading and such delicious seasoning. For our entrée my husband ordered barbecue wings- which he loved! I ordered the alligator flat bread and was blown away! It was absolutely delicious!
I wish we lived closer so we could come here more often! The Spot is definitely a must go if youre in the area looking for a good bite.

Great dining experience! Employees were friendly & accommodating. Food was served promptly & was delicious. Great ocean view from inside & deck dining areas. Portions are generous. We first had yummy beef empanadas for an appetizer…. Which we finished with little wait before our dinner arrived. The grilled chicken Cobb salad was huge. Hubby loved the double smash burger with homemade bun… & the hand breaded onion rings were tasty, too… I know because he shared. We were too stuffed for dessert. There is a lot going on with multiple seating venues, so follow the path through all to the counter to order BEFORE selecting a seat. The device they give you upon ordering & paying is not a buzzer, it’s a tracker. The place is huge but they will find you to deliver your food items. Soft drinks are self serve fountain & adult beverages are available in the separate bar building, which has table service. The next time we visit Galvaston, we will dine here again.

The Spot is a great place that has several bars, indoor and outdoor seating which ever you prefer. Sitting outdoors gives you the best views. We had several appetizers, drinks and entrées. Bar drinks came out in a very timely fashion especially since they were REALLY busy at this time, all the staff were tentative and helpfull. I never had to wait on a drink. All appetizers and food came out fast and were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. If you want table service, sit under the canopy at the bar to the east. Otherwise you will need to go inside and order from the counter.

Highly recommend the spot if your out in Galveston, Texas! They have an awesome 21+ outside 2 story deck with a beautiful view of the beach and pleasure pier. The food was cooked to perfection. I had the harvest bowl with salmon. My husband had cobb salad and loved it! Our server Ricardo was very attentive and fast.
